Pale Headed Rosellas

This morning I heard the sound of a parrot twittering outside, but it didn’t sound like the rainbows our most common loriikeets.  I sneaked out onto the balcony and discovered a pair of Pale Headed Rosellas.

    • In the dry tropics we can go 6-8 months without rain a year. I keep the fountain running as a constant source of water, that and a lot of native flowering shrubs/trees draws a lot of birds to my garden. And I must admit I got my husband to set up so we would have a bird’s eye view so to speak from the balcony. Janet
